The Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the Governing body of Leeds Mind. It provides an accountability framework for the often complicated and demanding work we undertake alongside people with mental health problems.

The Board  is composed of up to 12 elected members a third of whom are voted in each year at our Annual General Meeting which we hold in November. We currently hold 10 full meeting a year and several sub group and working groups to look in more detail at certain issues.

The work the Board does is largely strategic, thinking about the direction of the organisation, its public profile and resources. Most of the operational work is done by paid staff across the different projects and in Central Services.

We are always looking for people with interest and experience in the mental health field to help us run an effective and innovative organisation. If you would be prepared to commit time to us by becoming a member of the Board, please email us at leeds.mind@leedsmind.org.uk
