The amazing Gill Barker completed her epic 20 month long, 35 Before 35 challenge on Saturday, her 35th birthday.
The first of Gills 35 challenges was in June 2018, where she took to the tree tops at “Go Ape” followed by (to mention just a few!) training with the Leeds Rhinos, completing the Brighton Marathon, a Duathlon, running the length of the Leeds Liverpool Canal, Surfing lesson on Waikiki Beach & her final challenge “My life’s journey” travelling 260 ish miles by foot, water and bike! Starting from where she was born in Kent & travelling up the country to finish on the the steps of Leeds Town Hall…. what a way to finish!
Gill has raised an amazing £4100.38 for Leeds Mind & Yorkshire Cancer Support and we can’t thank her enough for choosing to support both charities.
If you’d like to show your support, Gill has a online giving page – http://ow.ly/Iurv50yO7fj
Not quite ready to take a well earned rest just yet, Gill was interviewed this morning on BBC Radio Leeds, you can listen to the interview by following the below link
