As coronavirus continues to make an impact on day-to-day life, here’s how Leeds Mind is delivering support and how you can access our services during this time. Please note, some dates may be subject to change.

We will update this page in line with the latest developments. Page last updated: 08 October 2020.

Counselling

We’ve been in touch with existing clients to see whether they’d prefer contact via phone or video calls. While we’ve had some availability during coronavirus, the waiting lists for both types of counselling service we offer are currently at capacity and therefore closed, but keep an eye out on our counselling pages or social media channels where we’ll publicise when appointments become available. Alternatively, you can find further support from Mindwell.

Suicide bereavement services

One-to-one support is continuing via phone or video call, depending on client preference, for both the Leeds Suicide Bereavement Service and the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Suicide and Bereavement Service. Group work is taking place on Zoom, virtually. Both services are continuing to accept referrals via their respective websites (please see below).
