At Leeds Mind, the health and wellbeing of our clients and colleagues is at the heart of everything we do. We understand that the current uncertainty around coronavirus can cause anxiety and worry, so we will communicate with clients as regularly as possible, given the fast-paced changes in government advice.
Currently, all of our venues remain open and are delivering services as normal. The only exception to this is a group that meets at The Fire Station in Halifax as part of our West Yorkshire Suicide Bereavement Service, if you are affected by this, one of the Leeds Mind team will have been in touch.
We encourage all our clients and visitors to observe the government guidance on handwashing and self-isolation. As such we ask that anyone planning to attend a group or visit any of our sites does not do so if they have symptoms of coronavirus infection (also known as COVID-19), however mild.
If you are not presenting with any symptoms we encourage clients to attend as normal, observing the good practices prescribed in government advice.
We will provide regular updates through our blog and on social media, however should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your regular Leeds Mind contact or through our usual contact details.
If you are worried about the coronavirus, Mind has produced some useful advice to help support your own wellbeing at this time.
