Our Job Retention service also offers a range of evening and daytime, peer-led workshops and courses which are available to anyone in employment with a mental health condition, including stress.
Being Well at Work course
Our peer-led Being Well at Work course is an 8 week evening course which gives participants ideas and support for being healthy and well at work.
The course explores techniques and ideas for dealing with work related issues in positive and effective ways.
Topics include:
- Reasonable adjustments
- Positive thinking
- Conflict resolution
- Managing crisis
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Assertiveness
- Time management
- Nutrition
- Exercise & relaxation
Over the course of the 8 weeks, you will create your own ‘Wellness Pack’ of resources and coping strategies for you to use at work and in other areas of your life. There is a £60 charge for this course.

Group support workshops for people in employment
We are also currently running a range of stand-alone workshops on the following topics which can be booked directly online via Eventbrite. Anyone who is currently in paid work can attend and you don’t have to have a diagnosed mental health condition. We are able to deliver these workshops for free at the moment, but donations are always welcome.
