FREE EVENT: Thursday 15th December, 13:45 – 16:00, Irwin Mitchell LLP, Leeds City Centre
*Please note due to catering there is a booking deadline of Tuesday 13th December, 17:00*
We invite Mindful Employer Network members to join us for a festive glass of mulled wine and mince pies at the final Mindful Employer Leeds Networking event of the year, hosted by Irwin Mitchell LLP.
We have a great afternoon programme featuring your first look at the new Mindful Employer Leeds website, an employer case study from Irwin Mitchell, a guided tour through the new online mental health resource Mindwell, a special festive wellbeing activity, group discussion and networking opportunities.
Rebecca Streets, Solicitor and the organisation’s lead on Mindful Employer will be sharing Irwin Mitchell’s journey so far. Those of you who attended the October event will have heard Rebecca speak on Wellbeing Policies. For this December session, Rebecca will discuss how Irwin Mitchell became a Mindful Employer Charter Signatory and the impact, different ways they are supporting employee wellbeing, challenges and their future plans for positivity around mental health in the workplace.
We also welcome speaker Alicia Ridout, Deputy Director at mhabitat, who have launched the new mental health resource Mindwell, exclusive to Leeds. Alicia will deliver a guided tour of the online resource and will be discussing empowering employees to look after their wellbeing and access the support services available in Leeds.
The UK’s mental health crisis continues. People are struggling to get the support they want, need and deserve. Waiting lists are long. As your local mental health charity, it’s more important than ever that our services offer what our communities want and need.
Tell us what you want to see in local and regional mental health support. Leeds Mind will use this information to build its long-term plan and shape our mental health service.
