Course Description

Menopause and perimenopause significantly impact not only physical health but also mental well-being. Nearly 70% of women experiencing symptoms during these stages report anxiety, depression, and other psychological challenges. This workshop from Leeds Mind aims to raise awareness about these issues, providing vital support strategies for colleagues, friends, and family members.

• Differentiate between perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause.
• Identify the physical, cognitive, and emotional signs and symptoms associated with these stages.
• Explore the specific mental health challenges linked to menopause.
• Identify effective ways to support and signpost individuals experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.
