Course Description

With 90% of women in the UK workforce reporting adverse effects during this transition, many are leaving their jobs due to inadequate support. This workshop empowers managers and supervisors with the knowledge and skills to provide a supportive environment for employees experiencing perimenopause and menopause.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session, delegates will be able to…

• Differentiate between perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause
• Identify the physical, cognitive, and emotional signs and symptoms associated with these stages
• Explore the specific mental health challenges linked to menopause
• Identify effective ways to support and signpost individuals experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and menopause
• Utilise case studies to practice skills on having open, supportive conversations with colleagues and employees
• Discuss and explore various reasonable adjustments that can be implemented in the workplace to support staff
