There’s a lot to say when it comes to what needs to change in mental health support.
We want to hear what you really think. What you want to see in local and regional mental health support. What you think are the real problems Leeds Mind should be tackling, and what you want to see from us in the coming years.
What type of support do you want for yourself, your friends, family and the people you work with? Where do you want to be able to get support? How quickly do you want to be able to get it?
Leeds Mind will use what you tell us to build our plan for next few years.
Let’s work together to make the change we need to see!
We have designed a short survey for you to let us know what you think the future of mental health support should look like.

About the survey
The survey is completely anonymous (so we won’t know who has written it). You can go into as much detail as you choose. It will take around 10-15 minutes to complete.
We also ask some information about you, such as ethnicity, sexuality and faith. This is to make sure that the feedback reflects all corners of our communities. This feedback helps to create a diverse and detailed picture of local and regional mental health so we can create a powerful plan for the coming years.
The survey is open until 5th September 2025.
Why is this important?
The UK’s mental health crisis continues. Waiting lists remain long, and people are struggling to get the support they want, need and deserve. As your local mental health charity, it’s more important than ever that our services offer what our communities need.
Co-production is at the heart of everything we do. It means we work together with our community, as equals, to shape our services. So we can’t make our plan without hearing from you.
We want to know what matters to you, to help us build and expand leading mental health support that addresses the important issues, and offers the types of services that are really wanted and needed.
