Leeds Mind is celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week 2024, from 13th – 19th May.

1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem every year. Many of us are speaking more openly about our experiences and seeking support. But there are still so many people urgently waiting, not getting the help they need.

Over 2 million people are waiting for NHS mental health services, and since 2017 the number of young people struggling with their mental health has nearly doubled.

According to research by Mind, people are feeling overwhelmed, and think that things will never change.

People need support now and as your local mental health charity, we’re here for you.

We’re joining Mind in making sure there is #NoMindLeftBehind.

How you can get involved

  • Find free and easy ways to get moving locally with Mindwell
  • Need mental health support? Check out our services and get in touch
  • Want to help others? Help others get the support they need and deserve by fundraising for us
  • Spread the word – share our No Mind Left Behind content with others on social media

There are also ways to get involved as a company or organisation. Check out our free resource for businesses, made especially for Mental Health Awareness Week!
