Leeds Mind is proud to announce that we have been named on the top 100 in the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™.

The Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list focuses on employees’ full experiences of wellbeing at work – including work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, social support, job satisfaction and more – to reveal the best workplaces for wellbeing in the UK.

Our inclusion on this list acknowledges our commitment to creating a great employee experience, as a critical part of our work towards building a mentally health future in Leeds and West Yorkshire.

Over the past two years, we have introduced numerous new initiatives to solidify our commitment to employee wellbeing including clearer progression pathways, improvements to facilities, and expanded race equity work.

To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing List, Great Place To Work® reviewed our culture, benefits, approach to leadership and development, alongside anonymous responses from our employees. They then used these data insights to benchmark our company’s employee value proposition against the culture our employees actually experience. Only the organisations who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.

From our anonymous employee feedback, we can see that overall our team highly commends our dedication to improve and grow our internal culture across our charity, as well as a high sense of job satisfaction. In the feedback, 96% of our team said: “My work has special meaning: this is not ‘just a job’.”
