Help for Employers

Research shows that mental health related sickness absence is vastly increasing. The stigma and culture of silence surrounding mental ill health at work does little to address this.

At Leeds Mind, we believe that mental health should get as much understanding, awareness and attention as physical health in the workplace. However, for many employers knowing where to start or even how to have a conversation about mental health can be daunting.

Leeds Mind has over 20 years’ experience of helping employers create mentally healthy workplaces.  Our package encompasses a wide range of support, including: workshops to aid employees in managing stress and developing resilience; training to raise awareness and skills in managing staff with mental ill health; facilitated staff support groups; and strategic support and advice on embedding mental health practice into the workforce.
