How can our business support Leeds Mind?
It’s easier now than ever before for your business to support Leeds Mind. Here’s some of the ways in which we can work together:
Choose us as your charity of the year
Choose to support Leeds Mind for 12 months and work with our corporate fundraising team to create a bespoke package that suits your business best. One of the benefits of supporting Leeds Mind as your charity of the year is to ensure you do not miss out on any of our events. Our team will work with you to build and develop a relationship throughout the 12 months that will help to create ideas, spread awareness, and share best practice.
Make us your Charity of Choice
Many businesses feel that one year is simply not enough!
Extend your support for Leeds Mind past the initial 12 months, and delve into a deeper relationship with the charity, seeing the longer-term effects that your support is having on our service users.
Take part in our events
Every year we create an incredible calendar of events for our corporate and community supporters to get together, have fun, and fundraise.
Dip, dodge, and dive under, over and through 30 obstacles at Total Warrior, pound the streets of Leeds in the Leeds 10km, or get messy in the kitchen, creating your very own showstopper by taking part in a bake off event (held virtually or in person). Head over to our events page to see how your work team can get involved.
We are always looking for support along the courses of our events too! If you don’t fancy taking part in an event, but quite like the idea of joining our supporters along the way, then let us know! Leeds Mind cheer points are the loudest and brightest along the courses of events across the county!
Buy your own place at an event
Leeds Mind has a number of charity places available for events across Yorkshire; you can commit to a fundraising target and receive a free place on an event.
However, if you would like to compete further afield (Great South Run, Ride London, Great North Swim, Berlin Marathon etc) you can buy your own place on an event, and choose to support Leeds Mind by creating your own fundraising target.
Get in touch to let us know what you are doing, and we can support you through sharing across our social media platforms, sending you resources, and sharing our ideas!
Create your own event
You know your employees best. If there is nothing that takes your fancy on our events calendar, then create your own event! Let us know what you are doing, and we can work together to support your journey.
Profit from sales partnership
If your brand has a product or service that makes for a good fit with our cause, then a commercial agreement to donate a proportion of its profits to us could be a mutually beneficial partnership.
Our shops rely on selling donated items to raise money for vital research into mental health, and the many ways in which we can support those who are living with mental health difficulties. If your organisation could donate stock at scale, through regular employee stock drive events, or even donating end of line and unsold stock, then we’d love to speak to you.
Set up payroll giving
Payroll Giving is a great way for employees to make monthly donations to charity, straight from their salary, before tax is deducted. It’s easy for employers to set up and shows strong charitable support.

“The Knowledge Partnership chose Leeds Mind as their Charity of the Year for 2019, and not only has it been a fantastic way for our staff to get involved from a charitable perspective, it has been a privilege to support a charity which directly benefits our community in and around Leeds.”The Knowledge Partnership
“I think most people voted for this charity as we have been raising more awareness of mental health issues in the workplace & have been setting up groups so that colleagues have someone to turn to in their times of need. It’s very important to learn to recognise signs of failing/poor mental health & to have the coping mechanisms to deal with it, ideally before it becomes too big of a problem. It’s also very helpful for colleagues living/working with people who are experiencing mental health issues to receive information/coping strategies to help where possible.”Asda House
“JBAndrews support Leeds Mind because of the incredible work they do within mental health in Leeds. With the majority of our office being young males- mental health is an issue that most of us have had very personal experiences with. We will continue to support Leeds Mind and the invaluable work they do!”JB Andrews
“We have thoroughly enjoyed working in partnership with Leeds Mind as our chosen Charity of the Year for 2019. At Blacks, we believe that the charity provides invaluable services to assist people within the Leeds area and support them through difficult periods of their lives. We wish Leeds Mind all the best for the future and we hope they can continue to deliver these important services to the public.”Blacks Solicitors LLP
“Having laced up our boots and got our pens at the ready, Blacks Solicitors have organised and completed a 30km walk, a bingo event, bake sales, tombolas and a rowing competition to raise money for Leeds Mind throughout 2019. We have organised fun and entertaining fundraising events to encourage our staff and contacts to join us in raising money for Leeds Mind and increasing awareness for this vital charity.”Blacks Solicitors LLP
